Step 18 Set Rear and Front Gables

WARNING: The gable ends are heavy

and awkward. You'll need helpers to lift

and set gables in place.

1. Install the rear gable on the rear wall. The siding on the gable must

extend over the 1x4 trim

board, not behind it. See detail below. Nail gable to loft flooring. Use 10d nails.
